Nathan Beeler
Bands and Instrumental
 
Nathan has been resident conductor for several Halifax ensembles including The Scotia Brass and the Dalhousie University Wind Ensemble and has guest conducted the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra, Nova Sinfonia and the Chebucto Symphony Orchestra. 
 
Nathan has spoken or presented at the Calgary City Teachers Conference, The Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence award winner presentations, the Nova Scotia Music Educators Conference and the Canadian Music Educators Association Conference. He is a frequent adjudicator and has worked in this capacity in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Ontario and Manitoba.
 
Nathan is the author of Everything Matters: 50 Essays on Music Education, available at www.amazon.ca.
 
Nathan holds an undergraduate degree in music education from Acadia University, and a Master’s degree in conducting from the University of Manitoba. While in Manitoba, he studied conducting with Earl Stafford, former music director of Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Nathan is presently a DMA candidate in music education through Boston University.
 
In 2010, Nathan was a recipient of the Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence, one of Canada’s highest  awards for educators..
 
Janice Jackson
Vocals, Choirs, Piano
 
Janice Isabel Jackson has sung over 240 world premieres and performed contemporary music around the world - Beijing, Paris, Brussels, Hong Kong, Vienna, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Torino, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Berlin, Johannesburg, Cape Town and more. 
 
She has appeared in countless contemporary music festivals including the November Festival (Ghent), Wien Modern (Vienna), Ludwigs Lust (Hamburg), The Proms (Amsterdam), IRCAM (Paris), Big Torino 2000 (Turin), and the Diem Festival of Electro-acoustic music (Denmark).  
 
She is the Artistic Director of Vocalypse Productions, a Halifax based presenter of contemporary voice projects. In 2021 she premiered composer James Rolfe’s O Greenest Branch, for soprano, chorus, congas, and organ and co-directed Saint Hildegard von Bingen’s Ordo Virtutum.
 
In 2022 she premiered the role of Mona Parsons, the only Canadian woman to have been detained in a Nazi POW camp, in the Vocalypse presentation of Escape to Freedom by Halifax composer Sandy Moore.
 
 
Victoria Fuller
Musical Theatre, Dramatic Speech
 
Victoria Fuller is a Toronto-based theatre artist and educator.  Originally from Newfoundland. She relocated to Toronto to pursue her passion for musical theatre, earning a Performing Arts Diploma from Randolph College for the Performing Arts. She then furthered her training at the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), where she completed an M.A. in Musical Theatre Performance. Over the years, Victoria developed a profound passion for directing and theatre education.
 
As the founder and Artistic Director of her company Echo Productions, Victoria has directed a wide range of productions, such as A Clockwork Orange (Tarragon Theatre), Frankenstein, Dog Sees God (Second City), Bonnie & Clyde (Factory Theatre), and Jekyll & Hyde, to name a few. Her original work Context was featured in the 2017 Rendezvous with Madness festival in Toronto. Victoria has also been invited to direct short plays for The Playwrights' Springboard, a platform for showcasing new works, and was nominated for Outstanding Direction at the 2019 My Entertainment World Awards.
 
Victoria has taught the performing arts to students of all ages. She is the creator and Educational Director of Little Red Theatre’s musical theatre program in Toronto. She also teaches music and musical theatre at the P.A.C.E. Academy for Gifted Children and various Toronto District School Board (TDSB) schools. Additionally, she has collaborated with numerous organizations across Canada, including her alma mater, Randolph College for the Performing Arts, through its Randolph Kids Performing Arts program.
 
Victoria is deeply committed to creating politically-driven original works and fostering anti-capitalist spaces for artistic expression. Alongside her directing and teaching work, she is an accomplished singer and vocal teacher, has adjudicated vocal festivals, and teaches privately. 
 
In addition to her extensive directing and teaching career, Victoria has a long performance career in musical theatre productions across Canada and the United Kingdom. She is also a singer-songwriter, regularly performing in Toronto. Victoria believes her ongoing work as a performer enriches her perspective and enhances her approach to directing
 
 
Martin Vallée
Dance
 
Martin Vallée is a celebrated dance artist, ballet master, and choreographer with a profound influence on the dance community of Newfoundland and Labrador. As Artistic Director of Kittiwake Dance Theatre (2007–2023), he shaped the company’s artistic vision and left a lasting legacy.
 
Trained at L’École Supérieure de Danse du Québec and the Alberta Ballet School, Martin performed as a soloist across North America and Europe with renowned companies such as Alberta Ballet, Ottawa Ballet, and Les Sortilèges. His choreographic repertoire for Kittiwake includes full-length productions like Narnia, Peter Pan in the Park, Alice, The Nutcracker, and original works such as Soundscape, Alone Together and After the Dust Settles.
 
In recognition of his artistic excellence, Martin was named BMO-ArtsNL Artist of the Year (2018). A passionate advocate for dance, he played a role in the founding of DanceNL, earning an honorary lifetime membership for his dedication to the art form.
 
Now working as a performer, artistic advisor, and educator, Martin continues to share his expertise with dancers in Newfoundland and Labrador and internationally, shaping the next generation of dance professionals.
