February was Violence Prevention Month in Newfoundland and Labrador. Our club took part in several ways. We attended the Proclamation Signing at the Town of Stephenville. Janice Kennedy, a Rotarian and the Executive Director of the Bay St. George Status of Women Council did an activity with Rotarians to understand the impacts of violence in our community and what we can do to make our community a safer place. Finally, on Wednesday, we proudly wore pink as part of Pink Shirt Day right across Canada!
